Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen.
Prayer is at the heart of our life as a congregation. We strive to pray more like Jesus, who was in constant communion with his Father.
We have an on-going prayer list in which we pray for one another, for family and friends, and for the mission and ministries of Bethlehem. Please contact the church office if you want to add someone to the prayer list.
Our prayer chain is a group of members who are committed for praying for those in need – personally, immediately, and confidentially. If you would like to become a part of our prayer chain please contact the church office.
We also have two intercessory prayer groups – a morning group that meets the first and third Thursdays at 10:00 AM; and an evening group that meets on the first Thursday evening of the month at 7:30 PM in the sanctuary. These groups intercede on behalf our congregation, our community, our nation, and our world. Both groups have an open invitation to join them in prayer. For more information please contact the church office.
