Faith Development is for more than kids

When people think of Faith Development, they tend to think first about kids.

Bethlehem has a dynamic ministry for our children. With new rooms dedicated for art, storytelling, science, computers, and movies. Designed to take advantage of a variety of active learning styles our Sunday School follows the Workshop Rotational Model.

Bethlehem is overflowing with kids that know they are loved by God and by us.

Adults

Faith Development is also a major priority for adults. We exist by God's grace, we are created to give God our thanks and praise, and we are most whole when we are growing deeper in faith.

Therefore, Bethlehem has several classes and a dozen small groups for Bible Study and prayer. We have men's groups and plenty of active women's groups. We have several adult education options every Sunday morning, and go on retreats for faith enrichment. We take part in the Walk to Emmaus weekends for spiritual development and teach scripture using Crossways Bible Study. Education for Ministry provides the depth of a seminary education for people in the parish. And seasonally during Advent and Lent we worship and study ecumenically with the local Roman Catholic and Episcopal parishes.
