Pastor Kuenzel is a native of Great Falls, Montana where he grew up loving sports and the outdoors. He earned undergraduate degrees from Concordia College in Portland, OR and Valparaiso University. He also earned seminary degrees at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO, Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN, and Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
Bruce is married to Cynthia Ann Mein (Kuenzel), an elementary teacher born in Jerome, Idaho. They have three grown children, Rachel, Becca, and Josh.
Pastor "K" served as youth pastor in Edina, MN, for five years, then for fifteen years in Granite Falls, MN. Eight of those years were spent as the youth pastor, the remainder as senior pastor. He came to Bethlehem in February, 2004, where he shares his passions for music, singing, reading and hiking. Bruce is also a devoted Twins fan.
